Pro-Xtreme Soccer Camp

For those that are still interested in participating in the 8th Annual Pro-Xtreme Soccer Camp, there are a few spaces available. You can still register online to receive the discount of $25 from the walk-up rate.

The camp will run Monday (12/26) - Thursday (12/29). This year's Pro-Xtreme features once again Brian Ching, Hawaii's own soccer senstation. Brian is an alumnus of the Honolulu Bulls SC and has played for the San Jose Earthquakes for several years. He lead the MLS is scoring in 2004 and has been making appearances with the US Men's National Team for the past 2-3 years, scoring some important goals for the team in their preliminary world cup qualification.

Joining Brian this year will be Hope Solo and Ted Eck. Hope Solo is probably one of the hottest prospects in US Women's Soccer. She has started in goal for the USA at every age level. In 2005 she started three of four games at the Algarve Cup, earning shutouts in each, including against Germany in the championship game. Hope trained with the USA during 2004 Olympic Residency Camp and was named the alternate goalkeeper on the 2004 Olympic Team. Originally from Washington State she was a 3-time NSCAA All American and 4-time All-PAC-10 Selection while playing at Washington. Like Brian, Hope will be reporting to the National Team Camp following the conclusion of the camp.

Ted Eck retired from playing professional soccer in 2001, finishing his career with the Dallas Burn (FC Dallas) in 2001. He made his first US Men's National Team appearance against Columbia in 1990. He earned 12 more CAPs throughout the early 90s, netting one goal, and he was a member of the National Team that won the 1991 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Ted played in various professional leagues around the US until the inception of the MLS where he spent his final 5 years with the Dallas Burn(FC Dallas).

We encourage all players 6 and up to particiapte in the Pro-Xtreme as the camp provides them with the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the best players around the country. Approximately 30 collegiate soccer athletes will be assiting the camp staff with coaching during the camp. For more information visit the website or send an inquiry to info@hawaiisoccercamps.com. We hope to see you there!
